Historical Hull House Renovation

Our main objective was to restore this landmark to it’s original and authentic state. We started by removing the exterior stucco finish that was added years after to the structure. When that layer was removed we repaired the aging mortar and water damage by applying new mortar to the existing stone. It’s interesting to see how masonry had been done in the past, and what we can do now to preserve these wonderful historic structures.
