Skilled Mason/Landscape Construction

Responsibilities include a variety of job tasks including physical labor in order to manage the timely completion of landscape construction and maintenance projects. Posses the ability to read and interpret blueprints, designs, drawings, and specifications required to complete masonry construction. It is their responsibility to supervise a crew of laborers and have knowledge of and use a wide variety of both handheld & power tools and equipment. A Skilled Mason will know and practice proper safety procedures, quality control, and productivity guidelines. Has the ability to lift, carry, walk, stand, crouch, kneel, carry out strenuous physical tasks for prolonged periods of time and able to physically work shifts greater than 8 hours. (Seasonal work often requires shifts of 10-12 hours) Has capacity to work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, bugs, noise, mud, snow and cold, and is prepared with proper attire including sunscreen, bug repellent, lunch, snacks and drinks for the duration of their shift.



  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape, construction, or other related field
  • Ability to work on scaffolding and ladders
  • Required to have own set of hand tools
  • Responsible and dependable in actions and communications
  • Extensive knowledge of construction material, chemistry, methodology, weather and its direct effects short and long term on projects
  • Valid driver’s license including current copy of driving abstract; ability to drive truck/trailer combination
  • Willing to work flexible hours including an occasional weekend and out-of-town work
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must own a vehicle and have access to it regularly
