Our client wanted to turn this steep hillside into a place where they could enjoy some outdoor time. Our task was to excavate the hill, install the proper base and supports for a stamped concrete patio and an overhead post and beam structure. After excavation we installed a carved concrete retaining wall to contain the base. New steps were created to gain access from above the patio. A second walkway was added that stretches from the existing stairs and walkway that is just level with the new patio. Included in this space is a carved concrete propane fire pit. Over head a post and beam structure helps to contain the space giving it a sheltered and comforting feel. Plant beds and perennial gardens were then installed to compliment the space and add color and beauty.<\/p>\n
